Volatility in the stock market has returned this year and, it appears, so has a more competitive job market for recent college graduates.
According to a recent survey completed by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, the job market for 2018 college graduates is expected to shrink by 1.3% this spring. This decrease is the first decline in college hiring since 2010. Read the article here.
The jobs are still there to be filled but the pool is shrinking which means competition is increasing. All the more reason to "up your game" and sharpen your job search skills.
